Ministries FAQ

Simply click "Join" on any ministry card or fill out our contact form. A team member will reach out within 48 hours to welcome you. You can also visit us on a Sunday and speak with any leader directly.

Welcome! We love newcomers. Start by attending a Sunday service, then visit any ministry that interests you. We host a "First Steps" orientation every month for new members — ask at the welcome desk!

Absolutely! We encourage first-time visitors to observe and get a feel for the ministry. Come as you are, and a leader will explain what we do and answer your questions.

It varies by ministry — typically 2–4 hours per week, including team meetings and serving. Some ministries require less (like prayer warriors), while others like youth ministry may require 5–6 hours weekly.

Yes — many members serve in two or even three ministries. We recommend starting with one to build rhythm and relationships, then expanding as the Lord leads and your schedule allows.

Some ministries like community outreach are project-based and don't require weekly attendance. Speak with your ministry leader about flexible options that work for your season.

Not at all. We provide training, mentorship, and onboarding for every team. Your willing heart is the only prerequisite. Our leaders love equipping new volunteers!

Absolutely. Every children and youth volunteer undergoes background checks and safeguarding training. We take the safety of our young people very seriously.

Training depends on your ministry. Evangelism team members receive Gospel sharing techniques. Prayer warriors are trained in intercession. Children's workers get child development and safeguarding training. All receive spiritual formation training.

Serving deepens your faith by putting Scripture into action, connecting you with mature believers, and showing you God's work firsthand. You'll discover spiritual gifts, build community, and experience God's faithfulness in real ways.

That's normal! God often calls us before we feel ready. Our ministry leaders will help you discover your gifts and calling through prayer, conversation, and service. Trust the process — God equips those He calls.

Yes, absolutely. Sometimes it takes trying a ministry to discover where you're most effective. Talk to your current leader and explore other options. We want you where you can flourish and thrive.
